We, the staff members and the students, feel proud and blessed to be a part of the Kendriya Vidyalaya sangathan.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.4 Varanasi came into existence on 8th April 2003.It is a civil sector Vidyalaya.Initially the Vidyalaya started functioning in Ramapura, Varanasi with 114 students from class I to V. Later the Vidyalaya was shifted to DLW Campus on 29th September 2003.Mrs V.Bisarya, the then Acting Assistant Commissioner,Patna Region inaugurated the new Campus. At present we have 277 students in class V to X.The first batch of class-X has appeared in CBSE Examination 2009 with 100 percent pass out. There are 17 members on the Vidyalaya staff. The Vidyalaya has a vast playground where morning assembly is conducted. The open space in front of the Vidyalaya building has flower beds all-around.The greenery in the Campus builds a very conducive environment for the peaceful teaching and learning process.

Although the Vidyalaya is still in its cradle, our blossoming students have started spreading their fragrance all-around in the region. Not only in the academic sphere, but in the spheres of sports and games, Scout-Guide activities and cultural activities. Also our students, though young sapling, have broken new grounds. We have students belonging to different strata and sections of society. In this way our Vidyalaya is a miniature India in itself and tries to inculcate in its students feelings of patriotism, brotherhood and national integration. WE ALL ARE PROUD TO BE K.VEANS AND ALSO MORE PROUD TO BE INDIANS
