CMP Initiatives (Class I to V) of the Vidyalaya

 Due to unfortunate unavoidable circumstances primary classes in the Vidyalaya have been closed and CMP initiative is dormant. We expect resumption of lower classes from the academic session 2011-12.

COMMON MINIMUM PROGRAMME

It is a matter of immense pleasure that Kendriya Vidyalaya No.4, Varanasi is looking forward for implementing the Common Minimum Programme from April 2011.

• For qualitative improvement and strengthening Primary Education our teachers are utilizing all the resources available in activity room and do their best effort to prepare the teaching aids.
• For joyful and child centered learning they prepare worksheets cum questionnaire in each subject.
• CDs of encyclopedia, stories, jungle movers are available and being utilized. We have just sent an order of 30 more CDs to Mumbai.
• In the beginning of session we have planned different activities in CCA & Sport activity which are already conducted, is attached herewith.
• In the next week we are going on an excursion and to call a Grand parent meeting in Vidyalaya campus.
• A community lunch is to be organized in Children Park adjacent to the school in the month of Nov.
• Display boards are fitted/ exhibited in class room.
• The facility of library is utilized by each and every teacher in classroom rotationally.
• A committee has been framed to look after the cleanliness of toilets, classrooms & surrounding, headed by teacher.
• As per the norms of KVS & CMP materials is being incurred monthly for purchasing the teaching learning materials like chart paper, xerox-paper, colour pencil, sketch pen etc.
